AudioPulse Subwoofers to be Sold at PartsExpress

It looks like the folks at TC Sounds Inc. are really trying to get their AudioPulse brand out there. We noticed some AudioPulse drivers during our West Coast Customs Facility Tour. Now we've got word that AudioPulse subwoofers will be available at PartsExpress in the future.

The rumor started in a post at CarAudio.com indicating that TC Sounds had mentioned PE would soon be selling AudioPulse products once the website was updated. Naturally, I had to follow up on this rumor and fired off an email to PE's New Products area.

The response I got back doesn't give a specific time line on when they will be available or which models will be sold, but does confirm that AudioPulse will soon be sold through PartsExpress.

Definitely an interesting development for both AudioPulse and PE. We'll keep you guys updated if we hear anything else.

I didn't think that line would do so hot. TC was known as a buildhouse and was still somewhat popular from word of mouth from their direct sales. IIRC, wasn't Audiopulse supposed to be a B&M product line only?

Neil is going to try and get some more info from TC directly tomorrow.

The AudioPulse line was supposed to be B&M only, but many car audio shops aren't doing so hot these days.

at least we will be able to get them somewhere now.

Badass drivers, although now a bit expencive. maybe when i have some money ill think about it.

tc wants way to much for their audiopulse line. They seriously need to consider lowering their dealer pricing if they want to compete with every other company in this saturated market.

In all reality I think that TC drivers are amazing. The price they are asking now are a tad high but respectable for the quality and performance you get from them.

Yes yes they are expencive but so is JL stuff, and they sell pretty good.

When there price increase game started before there new line started out,I knew trouble was on its way.

When there Audiopulse line came out recently, I saw online a list of prices that someone posted on the net.I was shocked at how much the price increases were, especially when you notice little change in the subwoofers performance.Hey,the powder coated baskits look cool , but that is just eye candy and does nothing for the sound! In my opinion -nothing to justify that kind of increase -period!

This has also caused other companies that are dependant on TC to raise there prices,Ther furture doesnt look so bright as they must also compete in the market and lose profit!

Did you guys ever think that maybe they raised their prices because they weren't able to stay profitable competing in the "value" oriented DIY world? Everybody wants everything cheaper and cheaper...it makes it hard for anyone who doesn't have a major name or a ton of OEM clients to make any money.

I'll use Fi Car Audio as an example. They move a lot of product but their staff is small and Scott's real money is doing OEM work (particularly in the home audio world). They don't have a customer service line for you to call and they don't have any non-standard products or parts (although all engineering is original). And people expect AudioPulse to be priced competitively with that?

What people are asking for is generic drivers with slightly different motors priced as close to rock-bottom as possible...and that's not conducive to a good industry.

I think it's alright for AudioPulse to increase prices if that's what it takes for them to be successful. I give them credit for differing themselves from the internet direct companies that come and go every few years.

It's great for the lines exposure and it helps all of us dealers with selling the line to the public who aren't familiar with it, but it is true for a fact. Parts express is going to be marked up 20% higher than map (Minimum Advertised Price) so it won't effect us (Dealers).
