High end audio manufacturer, Lyngdorf has released details on its upcoming D-1 audio processor and TDA-2300 preamplifier. The D-1 features the company’s RoomPerfect DSP calibration technology that “ensures frequency response far superior to its competition,” and allows for “much higher freedom of speaker placement in the room.” The D-1 is configurable for 2-8 channel systems; and permits the use of separate main and woofer speakers on each channel, plus multiple LFE subwoofers.

The TDA-2300 preamplifier utilizes Lyngdorf’s True Digital Amplification technology to deliver 300 watts at 4 ohms over two channels. For multi-channel setups, the D-1 is capable of controlling 24 TDA-3000 units by daisy-chaining the amps together. Unfortunately, this sweet setup won’t come cheap; the D-1 is set to run for about $15,000 with each preamp costing around $2,900 a piece.
