Emerald Physics CS2 Behringer Crossover Mod

Ric Schultz of TweakAudio.com is working on a modification for the Emerald Physics CS2 Behringer DEQ2496 crossover. The mod will initially entail changes to the analog input stage with mods to the digital input stage coming later. The output stage, wiring, clocking, and power supplies will also be mofied as well. The $2,995 Emerald Physics CS2 loudspeakers come with a stock Behringer DEQ2496 and there will be multiple levels of modification at different price points with a base price of $269. The modified units will be available starting in January.

The Emerald Physics CS2’s can be purchased through TweekGeek.com and according to them, Bolder Cable will also be offering a modified DEQ2496 for the CS2’s in the near future.
