Nagra VI Digital Audio Recorder

The Nagra VI is a multi-track digital audio recorder designed for portability. The VI features an internal hard drive with a CF slot for storage, a color display to view current recording status, and an internal battery for portability. In addition, the VI has 6 inputs (4 mic and 2 line), a user programmable pre-recording buffer, and a built in matrix with two M/S decoders. The VI also features a 24-bit, 96kHz sigma delta DAC; a S/N ratio greater than 114dB; a frequency response of 10-48,000Hz; and a THD less than 0.1% and 0.01%, for the mic and line inputs respectively. According to Nagra, their new VI recorder will “offer the best specifications ever produced by any NAGRA in terms of pure audio quality.”
