Speaker Wins a Wallpaper Design Award

The Wallpaper Design Awards have named a speaker as the Best Domestic Appliance. The Katamari 01' speaker by Giyanze is a forged aluminum block that houses two small drivers and an internal 15 watts per channel digital amplifier. The unit powers itself on when it senses an input and can also receive a Bluetooth signal. Weighing in at 12.3 pounds, the speaker is a bit heavier than it looks and a wax coating is used on the exterior to make it scratch resistant.
