V-MODA's engineers spent over a year of the design phase crafting the perfect sound signature of the Vibe series of headphones. Designed to mimic the warm, sweet sound of hi-fi stereo speakers costing thousands of dollars apiece, the curve remains amazingly straight with no bass roll-off which delivers a smooth and detailed bass response. A sensitivity dip in the 500hz to 2kHz range accentuates the bass slightly and reproduces a warm soundstage. The gentle dropoff in the high ranges was carefully designed to avoid harsh or "clinical"-sounding highs, making the Vibes suitable as in-ear monitors.

Pros: Excellent Bass response very warm and upfront
Cons: Lacks in the upper frequencies; maybe uncomfortable to some people
I bought the Vmoda Vibes, the black ones, from the Apple Store. I read they have a ton of bass. When I tested them out man they werent kidding it sounds like subs in your ears. the bass and midbass were plentiful. but i felt the upper range 2khz+could have been brighter, not bright bright, but a little more vivid in my opinion.
but i must say the case is terrible when you cable it up using the coilover case, not sure techinical name. the wire kinks.Mine ended up tearing the silcon of the wire a bit i just wrapped it in electrical tape and techflexed the whole wire so it wont happen again.
For $100 its great, its affordable, small, and sounds great.
