Poor Ground Plane FTL

Pros: Lots of adjustability
Cons: Poorly designed ground plane induces tons of alternator whine

I generously give this item 2 speakers out of 5 for its adjustability, and having exactly the features and connectivity I was looking for in an equalizer for my car.

All was looking great for when I installed this equalizer, right until it sounded like my car had a turbo all of a sudden. A high pitched whine proportional to your revs.

I assure you this was not a result of wiring, interconnects, or power supply, everything was flawlessly clean prior. Everything was checked, every means of connecting was tried. I really wanted this equalizer to work, it just wouldn't.
