While the most popular vibration mats on the market are limited to a 300 degree f heat rating, Second Skin Damplifier has a heat tolerance higher than any noise damping mat in the industry; over 500 degrees f. which makes it more stable at a wider range of temperatures than lesser quality dampers. This high heat resistance not only insures that the product will not melt and fail, but that it will not lose its vibration damping qualities in high temp areas of your car.

The foil constraining layer is firm, yet flexible and nearly 3 time as thick as the heat shield on most knock off brands.
