At the heart of the TD12 is a 300mm (12.00") Tannoy Dual Concentric drive unit featuring a new cone material and twin-roll surround providing enhanced midrange performance and tight, fast bass with tremendous low frequency extension. The cone material is manufactured from a composite of several different fibres. The mix of fibres has been carefully chosen to obtain a light but very stiff structure providing exceptional grip and control of bass transients.
