The Sundance stands are targeted for the budget-conscious headphone audiophile. Though often maligned, plywood can make beautiful pieces. The Sundance is handcrafted from Birch veneered 3-ply plywood which is inexpensive and plentiful which is why we can offer them at a relatively low price.

Notice the split design of the base and top. The top arc is designed to spread the weight of the headphone across a large area of it's headband. This helps avoid permanent indentations typical of the often used banana stand. There also is a built in cable hanger on the back of the stand. Why the back? So the cable doesn't interfere with the aesthetic appeal of your headphones.
