testing them out tomorrow, pay an upfront if they're still intact... Picking them up saturday if not earlier.

Now I'll probably need another amp though .... a sansui that sounds as warm as a nice BBQ and speakers hotter than all hell..... Don't match

Holy shit man.

That is some vintage B&W right there... Nice find. What are you paying for them?

Not gonna tell you the exact price, but it's close to what they go for.... They are in MINT condition though.

Not a real steal price-wise (because of seller always upping his price till he met the actual asking price, although he agreed on my initial bid first).

But hell, do they sound AWESOME (or at least on the amp that was driving them, because I wasn't able to bring my own unfortunately)

They turn up now and then, but still pretty rare, so I eventually could care less for paying the asking price and the struggle that went with it over the past 3 days

I don't have any pics yet. Picked them up on wednesday together with my bro so they were with him till yesterday.... Then yesterday I was planning on going to a concert..... gearbox of my moms van broke down while driving..... Bro picked us up on the highway and I put the speakers in the van.... But now the garage is telling me they will only tow the van tomorrow..... So I probably won't have them till tomorrow evening This really suck!!!

And I missed the concert too

Well.... I have them for a few days now..... Me needs new amp

The amp is way too warm for those speakers, so the lows are pretty muffled and the uber detail is lacking too.

Definitly.

2x30 isn't cutting it, certainly not when I want to turn it up. at easy listening level they're not really pushing the amp though. But still.... I hate the lack of uber detail. Thos speakers are pretty layedback by nature and I know with the sansui tripple digit series they had the intention to get close to a sort of tube sound, witch they actually did a pretty good job at succeding at. Still doesn't sound like a true tube, though, but VERY close for a friggin transistor.
