Default External 5.1 Speakers with 3 Audio-Jacks into a laptop?

I am a heavy music fan and I currently own the Logitech X-530 PC Speakers. The speakers outputs with three audio jacks: Green: Front left/front right | Orange: Center/Sub | Black: rear left/rear right

I now own a macbook pro but there is only one audio input and not the three required for the surround sound. Plugging only one in means that only a fraction of the speakers will work. What are the possibilities of being able to use all of the speakers? Some sort of converter?

The speakers do not have an optical/TOS cable so that's one option out the window. I just purchased the "Hercules Gamesurround Muse XL Pocket LT3" which is an external USB sound card. It does not work -.- Hopefully someone can get back to me one this ASAP.

Thanks in advance,
Brendan

As far as I know, you'll need a new sound card that supports 5.1 surround. Then you'll have the inputs. My desktop tower has the Audigy 2 ZS Platinum I got for it. It has a sound card and a receiver type insert, with digital and analog inputs/outputs on the front. It was kinda expensive ($200 five years ago). My wife got it for me for Christmas. I've seen sound cards for desktops that support 5.1 surround, for less than $20. I have no idea what's available for a laptop. Check online at MacMall and others, or a local Apple store for info.
Good luck!
