Nothing beat's the cinema, I try too go to late night projections so I can beat the popcorn chewing, phone talking, baby bringing masses and I usually succeed, heck one time I was the only one there, jackpot...

I LIKE THE THEATER, but I also like home, they both have benefits. I like being at home cause its me and someone I can impress with MY sounds, and Tunings, But then I cant really crank it that loud at home, And a 50" is still not as nice and big as the HD Projectors they got! I love also going with friends to the theater and girlfriend, but when your with a girl: THEATER WITH PUBLIC..., Or Home Theater WITH Just you two...Im takin home theater for the privacy and individual connection to the film. Although sometimes the BIG screen is nice to go and get a fresh look at a fresh film, I mean its always nice when i do go!

I like to be at home with all the home comforts, coffee, snacks, bathroom etc where I can pause the viewing and pick up where I left off.

You can't do that in a theatre, if you leave for whatever reason, you always miss a bit, and.....Why is it, always the crucial part of the film?

I guess your preferences also reflect how sociable you are and each one has it's pros and cons. At the end of the day I guess the only sensible thing to do is build a cinema for yourself and be done with it .

Call me lazy, call me antisocial, but I prefer being at home than going to the movies, than again I'm also impatient so I visit the movies pretty often. Find the right screening, usually the later is better and it should be quite a pleasant experience.

It depends who I am with, if I am alone I prefer to sit at home and watch a film. If I am with a group of friends I will always pick cinema over anything, but I do prefer to go later when there aren't as many screaming kids around.

I myself love going to the movies and although there are annoying things that you need to sit through, it's still worth it. Think about it this way, the fact that you might meet annoying people at a party doesn't stop you from going.
