Poncho's Shenanigans
"the12volt BOOM Box"

well thats what im calling it anyways. first off let me say i didnt really know where to post this, cause its not going to be just a mp3 player, because it will be able to play cds and the radio as well, so i just decided to post it here im sure people interested will find it. and thats because at its heart will me a pioneer DEH-P3900MP. its not the sexiest head unit, but its one i have just lying around. its too old to put in anything worth putting it in to so why not.
my drivers are cheapish but ive already mocked this setup together, minus the box and it sounds pretty amazing for what it is, oh and when i did i didnt have my crossovers which i should be getting soon. for the low-mid range ill be using;
- 2 Dayton Audio DC200-8 8" woofer,

- and for the mid-high ranges 2 Dayton DC28FST-8 1-1/8" Silk Dome tweeters.

each with a 2 way crossover at 2k -12db per octave.. box will be approx. 16x24x10, made with 1/2" mdf, ported to 32hz. should get around to building the box today hopefully. and have more pics up soon.. stupid post counter..
