Rarely, i got all my stuffs as mp3. I also convert all my cd's to mp3 formats.

I agree with your comment about inserts.... digital just doesn't give you that. Try vinyl for real immersion into the musical experience.... you won't regret it.
I only listen to CDs really in the car these days.
I've written a blog post about the whole Digital vs Vinyl arguement - and for me you just get more with vinyl (and CDs to a lesser extent)... it is Art. I can't post a link cos I'm a newbie but take a look at blog.vinylvenue.co.uk

I still play CD's and cassettes, the quality allows a good listen. I suppose it must be my age, but , I can't get used to mp3 players. I like to choose the piece of music, track whatever and then read up about it on the inserts you get. You don't get that with mp3.

I don't think that mp3 quality is good enough, and play CDs quite a lot, though I play LPs more! It's true that CDs are quite easy to scratch, but with reasonable care they are fine. I just make sure that they go straight back into a case or wallet as soon as they emerge from the player, even if it's the wrong one! If one gets damaged through my clumsiness, I use one of the quite effective repair kits around. There are also surface treatments that make CDs sound even better, on a good player competing with LPs.
They can be ripped to another CD, of course, and one then has a spare in case of accident.

I still play CDs, I cannot really hear any quality difference, then again I mainly play CDs through my PC speakers and the speakers aren't that powerful.

I'll probably listen to mp3 out of convenience, I do not have to switch the cd's every time I want to listen to another album, I get to see the title and I honestly can't heart the difference.
