Default Sony MDR-EX35LP

Just bought these because the original pair that came with my portable player broke.
Technical specs are as follows:
Driver unit: is 9mm
Frequency range: 6-23000 Hz
Sensitivity: 100 db/mW
Impedance: 16ohm at 1KHz
I bought it because I read good things about it, but find that it was a little exaggerated. For the price it performs pretty reasonable (around 20 bucks), but beware if you like metal an rock at higher frequencies it will slightly distort the sound which I found highly annoying.

Thanks for the review beat, how annoying was the distortion, otherwise did it perform well, how was the bass on it, is it comfortable? Many earphones become a complete pain if you wear them for more than 40 minutes.

The bass performed quite well, I suspect it's geared for users who mostly listen to techno or dance or whatever they call it these days, as far as it being comfortable I had it in my ear for an hour and something and I did not feel any discomfort, but I do listen to music on a low setting.
