BenQ S11
 

A BenQ S11 camcorder passed through my hands and I decided to share a brief overview of my experience with it.
First the technical overview:
The maximum storage capacity is 32GB of SD memory.
Video capture is at 1080p in mov format.
The maximum picture size is 16 MP.
It has an USB, AV and HDMI out.
The display is 3.5 inches wide.

At first glance it looks like a phone, I actually thought somebody was playing a trick on me. The interesting thing about it is that it has a mini projector installed in it, it won't be like going to the movies, but it's enough to the pics you captured or filmed. Over all it's a good little gadget, but the picture quality is a little lacking due to it not having auto focus, but it might be useful for people who have to do multiple presentations in a day and can't lug around a full blown projector with them.

I remember reading somewhere that these models have a really low resolution projector and even more than that the lighting is very weak, in my opinion if you're only interested is in projection you should find something else.

A mini projector is about the same price as this handycam and it still needs an outside source for the projections, with this you also get a camera so in my opinion you have more to gain than lose.
